Student Scientific Conference

Every autumn (usually at the end of October), the Student Scientific Conference takes place at the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague. This event provides an opportunity for bachelor’s and master’s students to present the results of their research projects.

Student contributions are divided into several sections based on their field of study. Each participant presents their work in a short oral or poster presentation before a professional committee. It has become a tradition that, in addition to evaluation by UCT Prague academics, students’ work is also assessed and rewarded by industry representatives — with material or financial awards.

The conference day usually includes the introduction and a presentation of a sponsoring company, offering an opportunity to connect with students for potential future collaboration.

This event strongly supports cooperation between the academic and industrial sectors and helps align mutual interests.
